Applingua CEO helps bring Pitch@Palace to Cardiff

Applingua CEO helps bring [email protected] to Cardiff

Applingua’s CEO, Robert Lo Bue, has been busy this month volunteering for Cardiff Start C.I.C to help bring [email protected] onTour to Cardiff. The event, that took place today in Cardiff’s premier co-working space, Tramshed Tech, welcomed entrepreneurs from Northern Ireland, England and Wales to compete for a place in the [email protected] Bootcamp that will take place in April. Winners of the Boot Camp will go on to compete at St James’ Palace in London.

“It was a real honour to work with HRH Prince Andrew and his fantastic team at the Palace.” says Rob. “The event took several weeks to organise but hopefully we’ve put Cardiff on the map.” I can certainly attest that Rob was regularly missing from the office organising catering, security and speakers! The event went without a hitch however and everyone seemed to enjoy the pitches from the competing startups.

Applingua wasn’t pitching, but it was inspiring to hear some really new an innovative ideas around the topic of health & wellbeing. We’re leaving invigorated to try out new ideas within the world of tech translations.
