Applingua is off to GDC 2016!

gdc16_logo.epsWe may only have the word ‘app’ in our name, but over the last five years we’ve been fortunate to work with some really beautiful games on the App Store. Take Alto’s Adventure, for example, we worked closely with the developers over at Built by Snowman to not only translate their captivating game, but also ensure the experience in other languages rivalled that in English.

We’ve enjoyed working with games so much that we’ve decided we want to translate and localize even more games in 2016. On March 13th, we’re catching a bus, then a plane, then a train to downtown San Francisco to attend Games Developer Conference 2016 where, along with several other game developers from Wales, we’ll be checking out some of the latest and greatest games and new tech in the industry.

Thanks to Welsh Government and UKTI, we’ll also have a stand at GDC, so come visit us in the Main Booth at stand number 1016 with your localization questions or just to say hello. We’re especially interested in hearing from game devs who’ve had previous experience localizing their games and learning from them.

It’s our first time at GDC, so if you have any tips, please get in touch. See you in San Francisco!
